So my minivan transmission blew on me. Long story short, I've been trying to swap out the van and trade it for a newer car because the transmission quotes I was getting were north of 5k closer to 5600 from another shop. (A reference from my mechanic, but Idk if I trust them anymore.) So I decided to call around. I called Sean, and he was super friendly, customer-friendly, and answered my questions honestly and straight up. He gave me a quote that was way more affordable and towed my van to his shop. Every time I call and ask for updates, he is always friendly, and I feel like I can trust him as a mechanic. He always tells me where he is with the progress. I called him; he told me a time frame and told me that they have to test-drive the transmission for at least 40 miles before he releases the van back to my soccer family. I've been going to a different shop because they were recommended to my family and me by a used car dealership, but every time I went there, the vibes were off, and the two old dudes upfront don't know how to smile or just didn't like me and my business. They were very generous with their time and thorough we the diagnostics. Came and took a look at my breaks and axle and were very knowledgeable and reassuring. Definitely a 5 star recommendation.

I had the transmission in our car worked on by a very well known transmission company and had to take it back in because it still wasn't working correctly and on our way on a long road trip the transmission cover fell off. Now 3 years later the transmission was worse than before but out of warranty. Found Shawn at Pro Transmission and could tell over the phone he could help. It's very rare that you find someone who is more focused on helping you get your car working than making money. He understands that if you take care of your customers with honesty, integrity, and great work, the money will follow. Not only did he get our car to the shop and repair the transmission quickly but he was also able to repair an A/C issue the dealership couldn't find after taking it in to them, paying a lot of diagnostic fees multiple times over the past two years. My transmission broke late night on a Friday and Shawn answered my call and was friendly and helpful. Coordinated with me and the tow driver to get the truck to his shop and fixed the problem immediately the next day had the truck ready to go before noon. Very fast, easy, and professional. Would recommend 10/10!
